Privacy and Legal Agreement for Breathing Classes

This Privacy and Legal Agreement outlines the terms and conditions governing the privacy practices and legal obligations for participating in the breathing classes provided by reBreathe & Live. By participating in the breathing classes, you acknowledge and agree to comply with the terms of this Agreement.

 

  1. Collection and Use of Personal Information:
    a. The Provider may collect personal information from you, including but not limited to your name, contact details, and any relevant health information necessary for the proper conduct of the breathing classes.
    b. The personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of facilitating your participation in the breathing classes, providing you with relevant information and updates, and ensuring your safety during the sessions.
    c. The Provider will take reasonable measures to safeguard your personal information and will not disclose it to third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law or as necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Provider or others.

     

  2. Assumption of Risk and Liability:
    Participation in the breathing classes involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to physical exertion, potential physical discomfort, and the possibility of emotional or psychological effects.
    Cardiovascular problems, abnormally high blood pressure, aneurysms, epilepsy and seizures in the past, anyone taking heavy medication, severe psychiatric symptoms especially psychosis or paranoia, bipolar, osteoporosis, recent surgery, glaucoma or is currently pregnant. People with asthma should bring their own inhaler and consult with their physician and breathing session instructor before participating. Anyone experiencing an emotional or spiritual crisis or any person with a mental illness who is not in treatment or lacks adequate support. Please note, this list is not exhaustive and we generally advise that if you have a question about a condition you may have that is not listed here, you consult a physician before participating in these breathing sessions. 

     

  3. By participating in the breathing classes, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with such participation and agree that the Provider and its instructors shall not be held liable for any injuries, damages, or losses arising from your participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of the Provider.
     

  4. Health and Medical Considerations:
    a. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in good health and physically able to participate in the breathing classes. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, it is recommended that you consult with a healthcare professional before participating.
    b. The Provider and its instructors are not licensed healthcare professionals, and the breathing classes are not intended as a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment. You should consult with a qualified healthcare professional for any health concerns or conditions.

     

  5. Intellectual Property Rights:
    a. All intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, and other proprietary rights, in the breathing classes and any related materials provided by the Provider, remain the sole property of the Provider.
    b. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works based on the breathing classes or related materials without the express written consent of the Provider.

 

By participating in the breathing classes, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
